READ THE BIBLE

Look up these Bible passages for yourself. You can use your own Bible, a Bible App or the Bible Gateway website.

REFLECT ON WHAT IT MEANS

The first Read the Bible of the Bible tells us about the very first Christians after Jesus died and rose again. Notice what they devoted themselves to.

The second Read the Bible is where Jesus teaches his followers to pray. This includes us today.

There are different types of prayer in here:

• Worship

• Intercession (asking for others,

• Petition (asking for yourself),

• Confession (speaking out the truth about God)

• Protection (from the enemy)

• Thanksgiving

RELATE IT TO YOUR LIFE

Ask your Life Class guide for some help about how to pray. Don’t be shy or embarrassed, but talk to them about how it’s going for you so far. They would love to help and encourage you, so do ask.
