READ THE BIBLE

1 Peter 1:14-23

REFLECT ON WHAT IT MEANS

The first Bible passage really expresses, in one short section, so much of what this week’s daily readings have been about. The result is that we have been “born again.”

The second Bible passage tells us how important it is that we speak out the Bible and the things of God. Through doing this, it becomes real to us.

RELATE IT TO YOUR LIFE

How much have I really spoken out that I believe in Jesus, in his death of the cross, his rising again and his forgiveness for me? The more I say it, the more real it will become for me! How much do I appreciate and thank Jesus for all he has done for me, for dying for me, for forgiving my sin? Am I truly, born again?

RESPOND WITH A DECLARATION

“Thank you Jesus for giving your perfect life for me, for shedding your precious blood to buy my freedom from sin.”
